Six months after being removed from PlayStation Store, CD Projekt’s most anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077 has returned to the store. The game was removed from the PS Store after players complained about laggy and buggy performance.
CD Projekt has confirmed that they have fixed the problems and the game is now back on Sony’s PlayStation Store. The company, in the tweet, has confirmed that the game will be available on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5. The company is also offering a free next-gen upgrade to all owners of the PS4 version of the game in the second half of 2021.
In another tweet, CD Projekt has also mentioned a big warning for PlayStation 4 users. The company has clearly stated that the owners of PlayStation 4 might continue to face performance issues with the game. But, they are working to improve stability across all platforms. The game will offer the best experience on PS4 Pro and PS5 gaming consoles.
Sony has also mentioned the same warning for PlayStation 4 owners. In fact, Sony’s post advises PS4 owners not to buy the game. The Sony listing mentions,“Purchase for use on PS4 systems is not recommended”.
For those unaware, Cyberpunk 2077 was launched last year in December. And, soon after its launch, players started facing technical issues with previous-generation gaming consoles — Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
In response to that, Microsoft added a warning in the Xbox Store’s listing and Sony completely pulled the game from the store.
