What the update offers
Launched in 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online has received numerous updates since. The latest update brings fresh content to the game, including a new social space for Grand Theft Auto Online players to meet up called LS Car Meet. “In addition to a ton of action-packed, Tuner-based missions and races, this update introduces the LS Car Meet, a gigantic, shared social space where you and your cherished personal vehicle can mingle freely with fellow car fans to race, show off your customized vehicles, and even link up with shady contacts looking for skilled drivers and a chance at easy money,” says the description.
The Meet allows car enthusiasts in the game to engage with fellow car racers, and compete in races. It also offers access merchandise shop, tattoo shop and modding area. Higher level Members can also create a Private Takeover complete with customizable lighting and banner colors to decorate their space.
Is LS Car Meet free
To become a part of the LS Car Meet, the gamers need to pay $50,000 as membership fee. This is basically the in-game currency that they earn by winning races. This also makes them eligible to take part in Prize Ride Challenges and stand a chance to win special Prize Ride. The players also get to use Test Tracks, large underground tracks inside the Car Meet warehouse. Los Santos Tuners also introduces new races inside and outside the Car Meet, each with their own Leaderboards. There are also new race series for members: Street Race Series and Pursuit Series.
