NEW DELHI: Cupertino-based tech giant Apple, is expected to launch its next generation iPhone 13 on September 14. The company is expected to start taking pre-order from September 17.
According to a report by PhoneArena, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives shared a research note stating that Apple is likely to launch the new iPhone series in the third week of September.
The report also mentions that the dates revealed by the analyst also match Apple’s usual launch schedule of Tuesday-Friday-Friday.
The report also adds that Apple has high hopes from the new iPhone series and the company is said to produce 223 million units. As per the memo, Apple is expecting the iPhone 13 series to become a best seller for the company. It is also said that Apple will launch the iPhone 13 series at the same price as iPhone 12 models.
As per the report, “The total iPhone orders for the expected four upcoming 2021 models the analyst estimates to be 130 million to 150 million for the second half of the year, with the fourth quarter, naturally, representing the bulk of shipments.”
Rumours suggest that Apple is said to launch four iPhone models — iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The smartphones are expected to be powered by the company’s own A15 5nm+ chipset. The devices are also said to come with improved cameras and sport smaller notches at the front.
It is also expected that all the four iPhone models might come with an AMOLED display and the Pro ones might offer a display refresh rate of 120Hz.
