Telecom operator Airtel recently rolled out a new plan for its prepaid users. The service provider introduced a prepaid plan of Rs 456. This new plan offers free access to OTT apps and some Airtel services. The new prepaid plan is live on the Airtel website and you can also recharge using the Airtel Thanks app.
Here’s how the new prepaid plan from Airtel will compete against the Rs 447 prepaid plan from Reliance Jio.
Airtel Rs 456 prepaid plan: All details
Under Rs 456 plan Airtel offers unlimited voice calling facility and 100 SMS per day. Users will also get 50GB total data. The plan does not come with any FUP limit, which means that there is no daily restriction on the data. So, under this plan you can use as much data as you want daily.
This new prepaid plan comes with the validity of 60 days. Along with all these benefits, the new prepaid plan from Airtel also offers one month free access to Amazon Prime video mobile edition. The Airtel subscribers will also get access to Airtel Xstream Premium, free Hello Tunes, Wynk Music, Shaw Academy for one year.
Under this plan, Airtel users will also get cashback of Rs 100 on FASTag.
Reliance Jio Rs 447 prepaid plan: All details
The prepaid plan of Rs 447 from Reliance Jio will give competition to the recently launched Airtel plan of Rs 456. Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom operator offers unlimited calling facility under the Rs 447 plan. Along with this, same as Airtel, the Reliance Jio plan also offers 50GB data. Subscribers also get 100 SMS per day.
This plan from Reliance Jio is valid for the period of 60 days. Along with all the above mentioned benefits, the Reliance Jio plan also offers free access to the Jio Suite apps which include Jio TV, JioCinema, JioCloud, JioNews and JioSecurity.
