Telecom company Reliance Jio has announced a new long-term plan for JioPhone users in the country. The new plan adds to the list of exclusive plans Reliance Jio offers for users of the feature phone from the brand — Reliance JioPhone. The plan, priced at Rs 749, is one of the cheapest long-term plans from the Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom company, and at the same time is also the most expensive plan for JioPhone users now.
Rs 749 JioPhone plan: What it offers
This plan for JioPhone users comes with a validity of 336 days. This time period is divided into 12 periods of 28 days each. Each of these periods comes with a cap of 2GB data. This means that while the total data included in this plan is 24GB, users will be capped to use only 2GB per 28 days. Besides the data, users will also be capped at 50 SMS per 28 days.
Besides the data, this plan offers JioPhone users unlimited calling benefits along with complimentary access to Jio apps like JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews Jiosecurity, and JioCloud.
Plans for JioPhone users: Overview
With the addition of the Rs 749 plan, JioPhone users now have five plans to choose from. Here’s is a look at what the other four plans offer:
Rs 75 plan: This plan has 0.1GB of data per day and over that 200MB, making total data benefits stand at 3GB. Buyers get unlimited voice benefits and the pack validity stands at 28 days.
Rs 125 plan: Offering a validity of 28 days, this plan offers total data benefits of 14GB with the daily limit set at 0.5GB per day. There is no cap on voice calling benefits but SMS stand at 30.
Rs 155 plan: This plan offers 1GB per day data, unlimited voice calls, 100 daily SMS — all for a validity of 28 days.
Rs 185 plan: This plan has 2GB daily data benefits, along with 100 SMS per day. The voice calling is unlimited and the validity stands at 28 days.
