NEW DELHI: Recent rumours revealed that Lenovo-owned Motorola is working on its next generation Moto Razr smartphone which the company will launch in the second half of the year. However, a new rumour suggests that the company has delayed the launch and now the smartphone is expected to launch next year.
According to popular tipster Ross Young, Motorola is expected to launch its next generation foldable smartphone in the third quarter of 2022. Ross tweeted, “There will not be a new Motorola Razr foldable in 2021. Razr fans will likely have to wait till 2H’22.”
Apart from this, no other information about the upcoming Moto Razr smartphone is available right now. However, it is speculated that Motorola is facing some trouble with the supply chain and materials and that is why the company decided to delay the launch.
Motorola launched the first foldable Moto Razr smartphone in 2019. After this the company launched its improved 5G version last year. The 5G version of the smartphone offered a better hinge mechanism and it also offered slightly better specifications.
Recently, Motorola launched the Moto G Stylus 5G smartphone in the US. The smartphone comes with a built-in stylus and sports a full HD+ display. Moto G Stylus 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor and it runs Android 11 operating system.
