OnePlus has just launched its cheapest smartphone in the country — OnePlus Nord CE 5G — and within one week of launching the handset in the country, it has rolled an Over-The-Air (OTA) update for the device.
The update brings the handset to version OxygenOS 126.96.36.199.
According to the information being shared online, the OxygenOS 188.8.131.52 brings in the May 2021 Android security patch. Along with this, it also fixes colour accuracy, improves the portrait photography from the front camera, and improves white balance consistency from the rear camera.
Readers must note that the update appears to be a staggered rollout as not all the users have received it but it should be rolled out to everyone in a couple of days time.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G specs and price
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G has been launched in India at Rs 24,999 onwards. This variant offers 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The most top end variant of the handset packs 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and can be purchased at Rs 27,999.
Launched in three colour options of Blue Void, Silver Ray and Charcoal Ink, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G has a 6.43-inch FHD+ display of 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G houses a 4500mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 30T Plus fast charging.
For imaging duties, The Nord CE 5G has a 64MP main rear camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2MP mono lens. On the front, buyers get a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor.
Connectivity options on the handset include 3.5mm headphone jack USB 2.0 Type-C port, dual nano-SIM slot LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, A-GPS, NaVIC.
