NEW DELHI: Realme GT Neo2 is now official. Realme has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of Realme GT Neo2 smartphone in China. Successor to the Realme GT Neo, the smartphone features a full HD+ display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.
The smartphone comes with an 8 layer cooling system and claims to offer 20% better heat dissipation as compared to its predecessor. The smartphone features a 64MP triple rear camera and is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery.
Realme GT Neo2 comes with a starting price tag of 2499 yuan (Rs 28,540). The smartphone is already up for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting 27 September. The company has not yet announced any details about the global availability of the smartphone.

Realme GT Neo2 comes with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass and offers 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The company also offers 7GB of virtual RAM with the smartphone.
The handset comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. Realme GT Neo2 runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI 2.0.
The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. Front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. Realme GT Neo2 comes with 65W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes.
