South Korean brand Samsung is reportedly working on another F-series phone. Likely to be named Samsung Galaxy F22, the handset has appeared on Bluetooth SIG certification website. The device was listed under model number SM-E225F.
While the certifying authority does not reveal any spec of the Galaxy F22, it confirms that the smartphone will be a rebranded version of Samsung Galaxy A22. The latter is mentioned in the database with the same model number. This suggests that the Galaxy F22 will come powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC.
It is likely to come equipped with a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display. The phone is rumoured to have a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is tipped to run on the company’s own One UI Core 3.1 base don Android 11 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy F22 is rumoured to house a 5,000mAh battery and may feature 15watt charging support. The smartphone is expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For selfies, the phone is likely to offer a 13MP front camera.
As far as the rear camera is concerned, the device may offer four camera sensors. It is expected to have a 48MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth lens.
