NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung showcased the new One UI Watch interface last week. The new Watch interface promises to offer performance enhancements and a seamless user experience. Now, images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartwatches have surfaced online.
Likely to be called Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, the images show the smartwatch with the new One UI interface. With the upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 series, Samsung is bringing back its ‘Classic’ title to its smartwatches. As per the leaked images, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is said to retain the physical rotating dial.
Apart from the rotating dial, the smartwatch is expected to come with two buttons placed on the right side which will help in navigating the OS. The smartwatch is said to come with three sizes — 42mm, 44mm and 46mm. The smartwatch is also said to come in three colours — White colour, Gray and Black colour and Silver and Black colour.
The upcoming smartwatch is said to come with traditional 20mm watch bands. Samsung is also said to include both S/M and a M/L band option. The display of Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX or DX+. The smartwatch is said to come with a water-resistant design and military grade certification.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and the Galaxy Watch 4 Active at its Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled to take place in August. Along with the new smartwatches the company is also said to unveil the new foldable smartphones — Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 at the event.
