Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched a new telecom plan of Rs 447 for prepaid users in India. The plan that has been introduced by Vi is already listed on the company’s official website as well as the app.
Vi Rs 447 prepaid plan benefits
When it comes to the benefits of the plan, it offers unlimited voice calling support — like all other telecom plans these days — for a period of 60 days. In terms of data, it has a total 4G data of 50GB. It doesn’t have any daily data FUP limit which means subscribers can use as much data as they want in a single day but with an overall capo 50GB on the entire validity.
Just yesterday, the telecom operator announced that is offering voice and data benefits for low-income group users to reconnect back, as they resume work amid lockdown relaxation.
VIL said it is offering “Rs 75 worth of voice and data benefits to its low-income group users who are getting back to work after the lockdown”.
As part of the benefits, Vodafone-Idea is offering 50 calling minutes to other Vi numbers as well as 50MB of data. The validity of this entire benefit is 15 days.
This isn’t the first time Vi has announced free benefits for its low-income customers. When the second wave of the Covid-19 was at its peak in May, the telecom company announced that it would offer a Rs 49 recharge pack — that includes talktime worth Rs 38 talk time, 300MB data with a validity of 28 days for free as a one-time offer.
Last week, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released subscriber data that revealed Vodafone Idea had added 10.8 lakh subscribers in March, as its customer base jumped to 28.37 crore.
Vodafone Idea ranks at the third position after market leader Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel in the world’s second-largest telecom market.
